Christmas Markets have a long tradition in Germany. One of the most popular markets in the Advent period is the »Christkindlesmarkt« in Nuremberg. Also very beautiful Christmas Markets are found in big cities like Aachen, Munich and Augsburg. In some cities, these traditional markets have been established since the 14th century.
