Solid and waterproof
This external case for a 2.5" SATA hard disk or SSD (maximum 9.5 mm height) protects data against dust and splash water (IP-66 rating). For users who are outside quite often but who don’t want to be without their memory capacity, this case is a perfect solution! The modern USB 3.1 connection provides a rapid data transfer between terminal and drive. Data packages are transferred with a data transfer rate up to 10 Gbit/s. The new chip set supports the data transfer rate of SATA III, otherwise the data transfer rate would get lost by the bottleneck. On the subject of getting lost: thanks to the integrated USB 3.1 cable, nothing will get lost with that external case so easily.

IP66 (splash water/ dust tight)
The IB-287-C31 has many talents, most of which cannot be identified at first sight. This also applies to protection class IP66, which prevents incoming dust or splash water. The IB-287-C31 achieves this with extra protection lips and reinforced holes for the screws.

Always at the ready
A datatransfer is only one connection away with the integrated cable. But the IB-287-C31 also sticks out on the desk, with its over 35 cm cable there is enough room for flexibility. While not needed the cable can be clipped around the case for comfortable carry.

USB 3.1 (Gen 2) with Type-C
With the technology of USB 3.1, even higher data transfer rates are now achieved. Also USB 3.1 is downwards compatible, with the corresponding cables. The data rate of up to 10 Gbit/s is supported by the included USB 3.1 Type-C cable and only needs a suitable end piece in the form of a PC, tablet or the like.
