Track ballast and gritting material can thus be easily removed, e.g. with a spoon. Tree blanks can be painted or sprayed with glue and then flocked with foliage over the can. In this way, excess material falls directly back into the can. Every single shade is finely tuned from the wide range of colours. You can thus use the "pure" shade of your choice right away, but you can also mix different shades to make up a "special shade" unique to your layout.
