The intercom system works on batteries (not included), but can also be used 2-wired and therefore can be used with almost all existing doorbell wiring. This makes it very simple to install. To be sure the wiring matches, you should always check your existing wiring. The slim indoor unit can be put anywhere and is powered by the included adapter. The indoor units can intercommunicate and make calls to each other if required. It is possible to connect the intercom system to an electric door or gate opener, this way you can welcome your visitors by opening the door or gate with just a push of the unlock button on the indoor unit. You can set the unlock timeframe from 1-2 to 4-7 seconds. You can use your existing electric door opener or use one of the DB5005 or DB5005L electric door openers.
